Welcome to Will Jones

Will Jones learned three chords and the truth before most kids knew their ABCs. Raised in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, he got his start playing in The Cana Ramblers, his family’s bluegrass band, logging hundreds of shows across the Southeast before he hit double digits. By the time their final album No Expectations dropped in 2009, Will had already lived a life on the road most musicians only write about.

At 17, he struck out solo, trading the harmony-driven ensemble life for his own lane as a singer, songwriter, and guitar slinger. These days, Will spends his time writing with some of the best in Nashville—crafting songs that are raw, resonant, and steeped in the musical traditions he grew up on. A weekend road warrior, Will brings his country music steeped in soul and mountain grit to stages across the country.

Will has shared bills with artists like Jon Pardi, Ashley McBryde, Josh Turner, Gavin Adcock, and more—holding his own with a sound that’s equal parts backwoods grit and highway polish.

Will’s sound is a love letter to the past and a firm handshake to the future. Drawing inspiration from legends like Keith Whitley and Tony Rice while sounding unmistakably current, he’s building a career on substance, not shortcuts. Equal parts front-porch picker and highway poet, Will Jones is carving out a space that’s all his own in country music.
